TRADITION SOFTWARE, INC. was founded in 2005 by its Founder and President, Craig Altman. TRADITION SOFTWARE offers the industry standard software solution, PreLien2Lien, to contractors and subcontractors in the US construction industry for lien management. TRADITION NOTICE SERVICES was launched in 2009 as a new division, offering contractors and subcontractors in the US construction industry a low cost, professional services solution for lien management.

TRADITION NOTICE SERVICES’  headquarters is in Rocklin, CA, just north of the state capitol in Sacramento. The company’s mission is to offer superior products and services with friendly, knowledgeable technical support. We don’t do this because it is easy. Our employees do it because it benefits our customers.

Management

• Craig R. Altman (Founder/President) Craig founded TRADITION SOFTWARE, INC. and TraditionInk.com, a Division of TRADITION SOFTWARE, INC. in 2005 and Tradition Notice Services in 2009. He serves as the President for TRADITION SOFTWARE, INC.. His professional experience includes twenty-three (24) years of senior level sales, marketing, teaching and technical support experience. Companies he has previously worked for include REED BUSINESS INFORMATION, FAWCETTE TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS, DEVRY UNIVERSITY and PASE SOFTWARE.

Craig has earned B. A. degrees in Political Science from ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY in 1986 and Marketing from NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE in 1992. He has also done further college coursework in Computer Science at SIERRA COLLEGE and Real Estate at FOLSOM LAKE COLLEGE. Craig has also earned IT industry certifications from MICROSOFT, CISCO SYSTEMS, NOVELL, DELL and COMPTIA. In 2010 he earned his Notary Public license for the State Of California. Craig has previously served for eight years in both the Illinois and California Army National Guards. He currently volunteers his time as a Coach for SACRAMENTO FOOTHILLS JUNIOR MUSTANGS FOOTBALL, ROSEVILLE AAU BASKETBALL, PLACER NORTH HOTSHOTS YOUTH BASKETBALL, ROSEVILLE GIRLS SOFTBALL, ROSEVILLE WOODCREEK LITTLE LEAGUE and the ROSEVILLE YOUTH SOCCER CLUB

• Miriam Liskin (Software Development Manager) Miriam joined TRADITION SOFTWARE in 2006. She manages software research and development for the company, including the maintenance and enhancement of the flagship product, PreLien2Lien. Miriam’s professional background includes twenty-five years in software development. She has authored fifteen (15) database programming books on Access, dBASE and FoxPro. Miriam has also been a Contributing Editor for Personal Computing, Computer Currents and FoxPro Advisormagazines. She has also been a part-time Professor at MERRITT COLLEGE and the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA at Davis.

Miriam has earned a B.A. degree in Biochemistry from HARVARD UNIVERISTY in 1974. She also earned a Master of Arts in Biochemistry from the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA at Berkeley in 1978.

• Michael Walker (Customer Service Manager) Michael joined TRADITION SOFTWARE in 2009. Michael’s primary responsibilities include providing technical assistance, user training and account management. He brings fifteen (15) years of customer service, technical support, and training experience from the HEWLETT-PACKARD COMPANY. His writing experience includes being co-author or contributing writer on four (4) published books.

Michael earned his B.A. Degree in Communications/Public Relations from CALIFORNIA STATE, SACRAMENTO in 1983.
