The deadline is shortened to fifteen (15) days if the Owner or General/Prime Contractor records an ALASKA Notice Of Completion.

Claimants must initiate a lawsuit to foreclose on the recorded lien within six (6) months from the date the lien was recorded. The lien can be extended by an addition six (6) months if an extension notice if filed within the first six (6) month period.
